Products Supported by Island Computers
Microsoft Windows 11
Windows 11 is the only supported version.
Microsoft's support for Windows 10 ended in October 2025.
Windows 8.1 support ended in 2023.
Windows 7 ended on the 14th of January 2020.

Data transfers and setup of new computers are available for those still using Windows 10, 8.1, 7, Vista and XP.
Windows Live & Security Essentials have not been supported by Microsoft for over a decade! You use them at your own risk.
Microsoft Office 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013 are also no longer supported by Microsoft. Please upgrade immediately. Or use Libre Office instead.
Apple computers, iPhones and iPads
Apple desktops, notebooks, iPhones, iPods, iPads. iTunes & iCloud on Windows or macOS. macOS 14 - 26 are supported. 13 and older are not.
macOS 13 (Ventura): Support ended around September 2025.
macOS 12 (Monterey): Support ended in 2025.
macOS 11 (Big Sur): No longer receives security updates.
macOS 12 (Monterey): Support ended in 2025.

Apple devices (iPhones, iPads, iPods and Apple TV Gen.1) with iOS16 or lower are no longer supported by Apple. Some apps will not work or be woefully out of date so bear that in mind.

Open Source Software
The Linux O.S. and Raspberry Pi are not supported, at this stage.

Mozilla Thunderbird has never been supported by Island Computers, nor will it ever be supported.
Android devices are supported, from v13 or higher.
Samsung, Google, HTC, OPPO, One+, Razer, Asus ROG, LG, etc
Be cautious with Huawei devices due to security issues and ties to the Chinese government. They also now run their own OS, not Android so no longer have access to the Google Play store.
Because of these issues, Island Computers recommend avoiding this brand completely.
